let the teaching begin!

Tomorrow will be my first day with my own classes. Every morning I start with 2 classes of kindergarten followed by 4 other classes of elementary kids. Little nervous but I have been going to classes for four days now and the kids no longer look at me funny and are warming up to me.

Yesterday I played soccer with some of my older boy students. They were extremely surprised that I was a girl and decently good. When I told one of my kindergartners I played soccer he asked "are you boy or girl?"

Besides it being extremely humid here I have had an amazing first week. My chopstick abilities are even improving. Kind of.

This is where I teach. California Language School. Second floor.
This is my apartment. Fourth floor. The school and apartment are a 5 min walk away from each other.

kimchi, no me.

Korean BBQ, so dericious. Kimchi, a very popular dish served with almost every meal, no so dericious. It is fermented cabbage and other veggies. Not a big fan, yet. I will get use to it.

Also, my chopsticks abilities are not quite up to par yet.

This is the view right when you walk into my door. It is my kitchen and laundry room, all in one!

Here is the Toilet. With a Korean style shower.
